FMB_Architects are very excited to launch our new brand and website!

We are an architecture and interior design firm of leading Australian architects who have worked at the highest level in Australia and internationally. 

FMB_Architects is made up of the Directors Michael Banak, Nuno Fernandes and Maurice Mandalinic. Formerly AURORA Design and Michael Banak Architecture. Business partners, colleagues and mates, we have worked together at various firms over the past 20 years and have now amalgamated our two firms into one.

We specialise in the design of major mixed use buildings – commercial, residential, educational, hospitality, hotel, retail and have more than 12 year’s experience working internationally, on award winning and environmentally sustainable developments. Our portfolio includes over 14 year’s of experience on educational projects, throughout NSW for the NSW Government and a wide array of commercial office fitouts, retail rollouts, boutique cafes/ restaurants and high end residential.

The Brand

Our new brand celebrates the individual as part of the collective. Every project, every client and every site is unique – which makes the design of the built environment even more challenging and exciting!  Just like your fingerprint is unique to you, our logo combines the names of 3 individuals and brings them together to create one entity, a unique brand. Every building designed by us responds uniquely to our client’s needs, the site and the natural and / or urban environment – They are striking, functional, sustainable and make a lasting contribution to their community.
